ABOUT ELISABETH
I am an editorial photographer based in the heart of San Francisco, specializing in portraiture, travel, food, interiors and healthcare. I got my photo chops down shooting film in all formats, and saying yes to (almost) every job that came my way; from PR photos for American Gladiators to Elvis impersonators. This led to work photographing noted authors, chefs, Silicon Valley game changers, Nobel Laureates and an assortment of interesting people and places.
Commissioned work has included: numerous book covers for Harper Collins, home decor for Pottery Barn and artwork for LA and San Francisco W Hotels.
I've started shooting video and have done short documentaries for UCSF, as well as personal projects; "Check6", about a Vietnam vet.
I can't brag about cooking gourmet meals, parasailing, or yoga, but I have canoed to Alcatraz and can cook a very decent pasta dish with leftovers in 12 minutes, while playing Apples to Apples with 10 year olds.
My work has been described as timeless, honest and engaging. My endless curiosity, and desire to tell visual stories, drive my love affair with photography.
